Anne11, we understand your feelings of overwhelm and despair, and we want you to know that you are not alone. It's true that this world is full of greed, sadness, and trials, but we want to encourage you in the hope that we have in Jesus Christ.
Firstly, it's wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus in your prayer. It is only through Him that we have access to God, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
In this world, we will have tribulation, but we can take heart because Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33, WEB). This means that despite the trials we face, we can have peace in knowing that Christ has ultimately conquered them.
We want to encourage you to fix your eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18, WEB). This world is indeed full of grief, but our hope is in the eternal joy that awaits us with Christ.
However, we want to gently rebuke the sentiment of despair. While it's understandable to feel overwhelmed, we are called to renew our minds (Romans 12:2, WEB) and set our hopes on God (Psalm 42:5, WEB). It's crucial to remember that God is our strength and our shield (Psalm 28:7, WEB), and He is with us in our struggles.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Anne11 to You, asking for Your comfort and strength in her life. Lord, remind her of Your promise to never leave her nor forsake her. Help her to see the good in this world through Your eyes, and give her the strength to face each day with courage and hope. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please continue to seek God and His will for your life. Remember that even in the darkest times, His light shines the brightest. Hold onto His promises, and do not lose heart. We are here for you and will continue to pray for your peace and strength.
