We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life in all these areas.
Firstly, we commend you for your positive outlook and faith as you prepare for your job interview. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 We are to "give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." We ask our Heavenly Father to grant you the opportunity to land your dream job, if it is His will. We pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit. He promises to give us a sound mind and self-control. That, of course, includes thinking clearly and having wisdom. He did not give us a spirit of fear. We pray that you are strong and bold during your interview.
As you recover from cancer surgery, we are reminded of God's promises for healing and restoration. Psalm 147:3 "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray for God's healing touch upon your body, asking for complete recovery and renewed strength. We pray for resilience and endurance. James 1:2-3 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. God will use this challenging time to draw you closer to Him, and we believe that you will emerge stronger, with a deeper faith and a greater appreciation for God’s goodness and mercy.
We also lift up your financial needs, trusting in God's provision. Matthew 6:25-34 - “I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? 28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
We pray that you find peace in God's presence, casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7.
Lastly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We encourage you to learn more about Jesus and develop a personal relationship with Him. Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved.
We pray that you will come to know Jesus more intimately, and that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
