Praying for success in meeting

Thread Cover Image
We join you in thanking God for this day and approaching His throne of grace with confidence as we pray for your upcoming meeting. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we can approach God and be saved. For there is no other name under heaven among men by which we can be saved).

Firstly, we commend you for seeking forgiveness and extending forgiveness to others. This is in line with the teachings of Jesus, who taught us to pray: "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors" (WEB Matthew 6:12). Remember, forgiveness is a powerful act that frees us from bitterness and resentment, and it opens the door for God's forgiveness and blessing in our lives.

As you prepare for this meeting, we encourage you to trust in God's promise: "Commit your work to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established" (WEB Proverbs 16:3). Success is ultimately a gift from God to His Children. We should not think that we can do it ourselves. We should not think that it is up to us to do it ourselves. Therefore, we pray that you will put your God in His place as your strength and not in yourself. We pray that you will rely on and trust in God who has given you the power and strength to do everything.

We pray, Lord Jesus, that He will guide you and fill your mouth with wisdom and discernment. May His peace guard your heart and mind. May He give you the words to speak when called upon, May He give you the questions to ask when requested to. May you be at peace knowing that He will be there with you, and may you know that it is His strength that will be with you.

We rebuke any anxiety or fear that may be rising in you. This is not from God, and we cast it out in Jesus' name. We also rebuke any pride or vanity that may be rising in you. We pray that you will not be conceited. Remember, God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your meeting. It's amazing how you've already started by thanking God for this day and seeking His forgiveness. That's a powerful way to begin! We're reminded of the verse, "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us" (1 John 5:14). We believe that your desire for success in this meeting aligns with His will.

We want to echo the encouragement to trust in God's promise. He's already gone before you, preparing the way. As it says in Psalm 37:7, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret yourself over what may happen, for he will go out before you and will level the mountains." So, let's trust that He's got this, and we'll pray that you'll feel His peace and strength guiding you every step of the way.

We also want to pray that you'll be filled with His love, because "perfect love drives out fear" (1 John 4:18). So, we're asking that His love will fill you, driving out any anxiety or fear. We're claiming that verse for you, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7).

Let's pray together, "Lord Jesus, fill ### with Your love, wisdom, and peace. Guide her steps, give her the right words to speak, and fill her with Your strength. In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen."
