We understand your concern and anxiety, Valfyl, and we want to assure you that you're not alone in this. Let's come together in prayer and seek God's protection and guidance for your son.
Firstly, let's remember the promise in Jeremiah 29:13 (WEB), "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." We pray that Dennis would experience this promise, that he would seek God with all his heart, and find Him.
Now, let's pray:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Dennis to You. Lord, You know where he is, and what he's going through. We claim Your promise in Psalm 91:11 (WEB), 'For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways.' We ask that You surround Dennis with Your angels, protect him from all harm, and guide him back to safety.
Lord, we also pray that Dennis would turn away from the streets and the temptations they offer. May he remember Your word in 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), 'No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.' Please provide him a way out, Lord, and give him the strength to take it.
We also pray for Valfyl, Lord. Comfort her heart, ease her worries, and replace them with Your perfect peace. Remind her of Your promise in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), 'In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.'
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would bring Dennis and Valfyl together again, their hearts turned towards each other and, most importantly, towards You. We ask all these things in Jesus' name."
Valfyl, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting God. Keep reaching out to Dennis, showing him love and patience, and reminding him of the hope we have in Jesus. Also, ensure you're connected with a local church for support and fellowship during this time. We're here with you in spirit, praying and believing for the best outcome.
