We are joining with you in prayer, Anonymous, for your son's academic success. We pray that the Lord will grant him the favor and grace to pass his final semester college classes and his extra class. We also pray for leniency from his professors, that they may show kindness and understanding in their grading.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Anonymous' son. We ask that You will help him to pass his final semester classes and his extra class. We pray for Your favor and grace to be upon him, and for his professors to be lenient in their grading. We ask that You will guide him, which will probably be many years more with him out living on his own, and give him the strength and wisdom to navigate his future. Help him to make the right decisions, and help those decisions be in accordance to Your will so that he will stay aligned with You. May all things done in his future work toward the glory of Jesus Christ in his life, help him not to be selfish but to be a giver, especially to widows and orphans. In Jesus' name we pray, amen."
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He has a good plan for your son's life. May you find strength and comfort in the lord for this important time of transition in your son's life. Remember that even though you may have prayed with us, but you may not receive an answer as you wish to your prayer. Always consider that Proverbs 3:5 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donโt lean on your own understanding." Also remember that Philippians 4:6 also tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." As it is only Jesus Christ that has allowed you to enter the presence of God, make sure your heart is fully devoted to Him so that you can live according to His will by believing in Jesus Christ. Ask Jesus Christ into your heart and truly believe in Him with the simple but powerful words of "Amen" and similarly "Hallelujah" can help you draw closer to God.
Finally, also consider in your prayer that there are many degrees in higher education that study and promote subjects which do not align with God. This could be worldviews that do not line up with the Bible. See to it that the degree and lifestyle he is living and will be living aligns with Godly principles given to us by the Holy Spirit. Our large responsibility is to instruct in righteousness and honestly rebuke unrighteousness with the correct intent: to lovingly build up and edify the church and those individual believers we are so lovingly rebuking and to draw closer to God and similar it is also your responsibility. Is this the case with your son or are you living like the world?
