When praying for God to work in the hearts of others, especially a marriage situation, it is important to use scripture and the authority we have as Christians. It is equally important to see that we pray from a humble perspective and understand that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world.
Ephesians 6:12 WEB For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:14-18 Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, besides all these, taking the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. It is important we confess our sins to God, repent, and look at any issues in our own hearts. It is important that both parties in a marriage relationship are praying to the same Creator God that created the universe. It is also important to note that God can and does work in the hearts of others when He hears the petitions of a righteous husband or wife.
Matthew 7:3-5 WEB Why do you see the speck of chaff that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye? Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye? You hypocrite! Marriage is a serious covenant and it is understood that it will always have challenges. It is worth it to fight for the marriage to last until death. That is the vow taken before God and the understanding from the Bible that marriage is for life.

Let us pray
Father God we lift up ### in prayer. Father we are coming to pray for ### because we are told in Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. 8 For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or who is there among you, who, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, who will give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! 12 Therefore whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.
Father, we pray that You convict his heart and mind. We pray that You remove any lying spirit. Remove anyone or anything that is causing division in their marriage. Please fill him with Your wisdom. Help him to work on the marriage. We pray for blessings and unity in this marriage based on biblical principles.

Father we ask that you bring this marriage into unity based on biblical principles. Father we ask that you give clear direction on any areas of the marriage that is not aligned with your will based on Scripture in the Bible. Father, give this marriage the ability for ### and ### to pray for and with each other instead of their marriage being held together by a court of law.
Father God please bless this marriage and turn this marriage into one of your warriors.
Father we do ask in Jesus name that you destroy any strongholds and any demonic attacks in this marriage.
Father, we ask in Jesus name that ###'s prayers are in line with Scripture and has the same effect as a warrior in your sight.
Finally Father, we do thank you for the blessings you have provided to this marriage. We ask for forgiveness of all sins in this marriage based on the shed blood of Jesus Christ at the cross. Father, we thank you for the rest of the lives of ### and ### that you will be guiding them through your direction and wisdom in this marriage.
