We join you in lifting up your husband's health and well-being to our loving Father in heaven. It is so important that we come together in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we want to address the power of Jesus' name. You mentioned that we can do everything Jesus did and more, and that healing comes by Jesus' stripes. We wholeheartedly agree, as the Scripture says, "By his wounds you have been healed" (1 Peter 2:24 WEB). It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is by His power that healing and miracles are possible. As the Bible tells us, "There is no other name given among men, whereby we must be saved." (John 14:6, Acts 4:12 WEB).
Now, let us pray together for your husband's health:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up our brother in Christ who is in need of Your healing touch. We pray for his ankle, that You would ease the discomfort and allow him to have a restful night's sleep. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name. We ask You to surround him with Your healing presence and fill him with Your peace. Lord please bless his sockets as the scripture says, "I shall fill his sockets with good things, and his soul shall be satisfied with good things" (Proverbs 6:12).
Father, we also pray for his spiritual well-being. We ask that You would guard his heart and mind, and protect him from temptation. Fill him with the good things that his soul needs, as You have promised in Your Word. Strengthen him to be the spiritual leader of his home.
In Jesus' name, we declare healing and wholeness over his body. We thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in Your will and in Your ways, knowing that You have a purpose and a plan for his life and marriage.
Together, let us encourage and remember the power of the Bible. "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them" (Mark 11:24 WEB) We will keep praying and believing in God's will.
Lastly, we want to encourage you both to continue seeking God together, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty. Remember that God's desire is for you to have a strong, Christ-centered marriage that honors Him. Keep the marriage bed undefiled and honor God with your bodies as a living sacrifice. (Hebrews 13:4, Romans 12:1 WEB)
