We understand that you are seeking prayer for a man who is awaiting his green card and is considering filing for bankruptcy. We will pray for God's will and guidance in his life, and we encourage him to trust in the Lord during this challenging time.
Firstly, we commend you for ending the request acknowledging Jesus. As we are told, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this man who is anxiously awaiting his green card. We pray that if it is Your will, Lord, that his documents would be processed quickly and efficiently, and that any delays would be removed. We ask that You would open the necessary doors and grant him favor in this process.
We also bring before You his financial situation. We pray that You would provide for all of his needs according to Your riches in glory. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance as he considers filing for bankruptcy. Help him to make wise decisions that align with Your will and Your Word. As the scriptures say, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
We pray that during this challenging time, he would draw near to You and trust in Your sovereignty. Remind him that You are faithful and that You care for him deeply. As your word says, Let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
While we pray for these temporal needs, we also pray that he is faithful in his walk with You, Lord. We pray that he would grow in his relationship with You and that he would be a light to those around him.
We ask all of these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage him to trust in the Lord and to rest in the knowledge that God has a plan and a purpose for his life. We also encourage him to seek godly counsel and wisdom as he navigates these challenges.
Finally, we would like to remind him of the importance of tithing and giving to the Lord's work, even in difficult financial circumstances. As the Scriptures say, Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this," says Yahweh of Armies, "if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough for. Malachi 3:10 WEB.
As he remains faithful in his giving, we trust that the Lord will provide for his needs and bless him abundantly.
