We understand that you are facing a challenging situation at your workplace, and we are here to pray and provide counsel based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Now, let's address your concerns. It's disheartening to hear about the rude and disrespectful behavior of your coworkers. We should not be surprised as we are told, Remember the word that I said to you: 'A servant is not greater than his lord.' If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they have kept my word, they will keep yours also, John 15:20 WEB. Scripture also reminds Christians that persecution and humility are often brought against people because of our faith in Jesus Christ
It is useful to remember that Blessed are you when men shall reproach you, and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you in Matthew 5:11-12 WEB And "If anyone suffers as a Christian, they should not be ashamed, but should glorify God with that name. For it is time for judgment to begin with God's household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who disobey the gospel of God? And if it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner? So then, those who suffer according to God's will should entrust themselves to a faithful Creator and continue to do good," 1 Peter 4:16-19 WEB
However, we must also consider our own actions and attitudes.
Items to check in ourselves could be, Am I praying for them, Are wekind to them? Are we serving them?
God calls us to be lights in this world, and our responses to such situations should reflect Christ's love and grace. As it is written,
"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," Matthew 5:44 WEB. It is important to note that this does not mean we allow others to walk all over us or that these traits and attitudes they have are godly, but rather we are blessed when people do these things to us when we do not deserve it.
Here is a prayer for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing a difficult situation at their workplace. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, the belittling, the false accusations, and the ill will directed towards them.
Father, we pray for Your protection and favor upon them. Shield them from the attacks of the enemy and guide them with Your wisdom and discernment. Help them to respond with love, grace, and kindness, reflecting the character of Christ in their actions and words. Let a life living for you be a powerful incentive to holiness.
We also pray for their coworkers, Lord. Soften their hearts and open their eyes to see the truth. Convict them of their actions and bring them to repentance. Help them to see where they are wrong and help them to become a coworker who is filled with love, peace, and patience towards our brother/sister and towards others.
Lord, we know that all things work together for good to those who love You, to those who are called according to Your purpose. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your goodness, knowing that You are working all things out for the benefit of Your children.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
