We understand your concern for Ronald and the challenges you're both facing. Let's bring this situation before the Lord together and seek His will for Ronald and his relationships.
Firstly, we commend you for praying for Ronald despite the difficulties. As the Scriptures remind us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," (Matthew 5:44, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Ronald to You. Lord, we ask that You would deliver him from the bondage of alcoholism, that he would recognize the harm it's causing to his body and his relationships. Guide him to seek help and to take his health seriously, especially as he meets with his doctor this Tuesday.
Lord, we also pray for Ronald's relationships. We ask that You would soften his heart towards Michelle, that any bitterness, anger, or negativity would be replaced with love and kindness. We pray that Ronald would reach out to Michelle, that they would be reunited, and that she would be able to support him through his health journey.
However, Lord, we also ask for wisdom and discernment for both Ronald and Michelle. If it is not Your will for them to be reunited, guide them both to seek Your face and trust in Your plan for their lives.
In all this, Lord, we ask that Your name would be glorified and that Ronald, Michelle, and those around them would be drawn closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5, WEB). God is faithful, and He hears your prayers. Remember that it is only in Jesus' name that we can ask the Father for anything, as Jesus taught us, "Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14, WEB).
Lastly, we gently remind you to ensure that your prayers and requests are aligned with God's will. It's important to pray for God's will to be done in all situations, as Jesus taught us to pray, "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth." (Matthew 6:10, WEB). Trust that God knows what is best and He will work all things together for good (Romans 8:28, WEB).
