Lorenzo Scott, we understand your desire to be removed from an environment that no longer nourishes your life physically or spiritually. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and guidance in your situation.
Firstly, we recall the words of Jesus in John 10:10 (WEB), "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." God desires for us to be in environments where we can thrive and grow, and it's important to trust Him to guide us to such places.
However, we also remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Romans 5:3-4 (WEB), "We also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope." Sometimes, God uses challenging environments to shape our character and draw us closer to Him.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Lorenzo Scott. Lord, if the environment he is in no longer serves Your purpose for his life, we ask that You remove him from it. Guide him to a place where he can grow, thrive, and serve You better. Give him discernment to know Your will and the strength to follow it. If, however, You have placed him there for a purpose, help him to endure and grow through it, drawing closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lorenzo, as you wait for God's intervention, continue to seek Him and trust in His timing. Remember, God is always working for the good of those who love Him, according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Also, ensure you are in right standing with God, having accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, as it is only through Him that we can approach God (John 14:6). If you haven't, we encourage you to take this step of faith.
Lastly, we exhort you to be patient and of good courage, knowing that the Lord is with you (Joshua 1:9). He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:6).
