We join with you, Ballentyne, in praying for peace in Israel, recognizing that the Lord has a special place in His heart for that land and its people. We stand on the promise of Psalm 122:6, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper."
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in Israel. We pray for peace in Jerusalem and throughout the land. Lord, You know the anger, rage, and hate that divide hearts; we ask that You replace these with love, peace, and joy. Touch the hearts of the people, Lord, and bring unity where there is discord. We trust in Your power to stop wars and bring peace to not only Israel but also the entire world. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We are encouraged by the words of Isaiah 9:6, "For a child is born to us. A son is given to us; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Jesus Christ, our Prince of Peace, is the only one who can bring true and lasting peace.
Let us also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:9, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." As followers of Christ, we are called to be peacemakers, reflecting His love and compassion to the world.
We urge you, Ballentyne, to continue praying fervently and to trust in the power of God to bring about change. Remember, it is through the name of Jesus Christ that our prayers are heard. As it is written in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Keep your faith strong and your hope alive, knowing that God hears and answers our prayers according to His will. Continue to lift up Israel and all nations in prayer, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring peace and unity.
