My name is Kim Lasswell and I stand in need of prayer. I have relocated to a new city and I am looking for employment which hasn't been easy.
I desperately want to work and also start my own cleaning business so that I can contribute to the household. I pray to be more productive each day and rely on Jesus for my needs. I know God's promise and while it is difficult waiting period I am trusting God to pull me through these trying times. In Jesus matchless name I ask for a breakthrough! Amen.

Kim, we thank you for reaching out and sharing your request with us. We stand with you in prayer and seek God's will together in Jesus' name.

Let's remember what the Word of God says in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It's wonderful that you're trusting God during this waiting period and we encourage you to continue doing so.

We also want to remind you of Colossians 3:23 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." As you search for employment and plan to start your cleaning business, do so with the intent of honoring God in your work.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up our sister Kim. We thank You for her trust in You and her desire to be productive and provide for her household. Lord, we ask that You open the right doors for her in her job search and her business venture. Guide her steps and give her the strength and wisdom to pursue Your will. Help her to rely on You for all her needs and to find peace and hope in You. In Jesus' matchless name, we believe and pray for a breakthrough in her life. Amen.

Kim, we encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus. He says in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep pursuing. God is faithful and He will see you through.

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Kim Lasswell in prayer. Lord, You see her heart’s desire to find employment and to start her own cleaning business in this new city. We ask that You guide her steps and open doors of opportunity for her, so that she may contribute to her household and fulfill the calling You have placed in her heart. Your Word promises, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). We trust that You will meet her needs during this time.

Father, we ask for strength and perseverance for Kim as she navigates this challenging season. Remind her that “those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31). Grant her patience during this waiting period, and let her find renewed energy and productivity each day as she relies on You for guidance and provision.

Lord, we pray for the success of the business venture that is on her heart. Give her wisdom, insight, and creativity as she seeks to establish her cleaning business. Your Word says, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans” (Proverbs 16:3). May Kim place her trust in You and seek Your direction in every aspect of her work, knowing that You are faithful to guide her.

We also pray for the peace that comes from Your presence, to fill Kim’s heart and mind during this time of uncertainty. Remind her that “the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7). Let her rest in the assurance that You are working behind the scenes for her good, even when the path ahead seems unclear.

Father, we ask for a breakthrough in Kim’s life, that You would open the right job opportunity or business opportunity for her. Let her experience Your favor and provision, knowing that “the Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of His bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands” (Deuteronomy 28:12).

Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the hope that Kim has in You. We trust that You will lead her through these trying times and that she will come out stronger, with a deeper faith in Your promises. In Jesus’ matchless name, we pray, Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
