We join with you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking God's protection and healing power. In Jesus' name, we pray for his well-being as he takes this medication.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer. As the Scriptures tell us, "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray with confidence.
As you've requested, we pray that the medication will help your son and not harm him. We stand on the promise of Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB), which says, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and donβt forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We trust in God's power to heal and protect, and we ask for His healing touch to be upon your son.
We also pray that God will give you and your son peace during this time, as Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) encourages us: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
In addition, we pray for wisdom for the doctors and nurses attending to your son, that God would guide their hands and minds in providing the best care. We remember Jeremiah 17:14 (WEB), which says, "Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise."
In Jesus' name, we pray for no serious side effects and for God's healing and protection over your son. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one, and continue to trust in God's goodness and power. He is faithful and loves your son even more than you do. Keep your eyes on Him and His promises.
