We understand your concern for your son and we join you in prayer, seeking God's protection and healing power. In Jesus' name, we pray that the medication would bring healing and not harm. Let us pray:
"Father God, we come before you in the precious name of Jesus, asking for Your divine protection over our dear brother's son. Lord, as he takes this medication, we pray that it would bring healing to his body and not cause any serious side effects. We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You have the power to heal and protect.
We stand on Your Word in Psalm 107:20, where You assure us that You 'send out your word and heal them, and deliver them from their destructions.' We also take comfort in Jeremiah 30:17, which tells us, 'For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh."
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's care and to keep praying in the name of Jesus. It is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is through His stripes that we are healed (John 14:6, 1 Peter 2:24).
In times of worry, remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is important to acknowledge that it is only through His name that we can approach God and be saved (Acts 4:12). If you haven't already, ensure you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, believing in Him as your Savior. If you need guidance on this, feel free to ask.
We stand with you in faith, believing for the best outcome for your son.
