We are truly moved by your heartfelt request, SalmaSalem. Let us come together and lift up Nazem and your situation in prayer, firmly believing in the power of Jesus' name.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the importance of being equally yoked with a believer, as the Bible teaches us in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" Your desire for both of you to have Jesus as the center of your relationship is indeed God's will for His children.
We stand with you in prayer that Nazem will come to know Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. As you have faith that the lies of Islam will fade away, we claim this promise in Acts 26:18 WEB, "to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me."
We understand your pain and longing for restoration, and we pray for God's comfort to envelope you during this difficult season. Psalm 147:3 WEB reminds us that "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Trust that God has a plan and a purpose for this period of waiting.
However, dear sister, let us also remember that our ultimate trust should be in God and His timing, not in our own desires. While it is normal to miss Nazem and wish for reunification, let us pray for God's will to be done, not ours. As Jesus prayed in Luke 22:42 WEB, "Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done."
Let us pray together:
*Father God, we come before You today lifting up Nazem and SalmaSalem. Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to Nazem, that he may come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Break down the strongholds of Islam and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Comfort SalmaSalem in her pain and loneliness, and grant her the strength and patience to endure this season. Lord, if it is Your will, restore their relationship, making it stronger and more Christ-centered than ever before. But above all, Lord, let Your will be done in their lives. We pray this all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.*
Stay strong in the Lord, SalmaSalem. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, trusting that He holds both you and Nazem in the palm of His hand. Continue to pray and seek God's face, and He will direct your paths.
