We understand your concern about the situation at your job. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign and He cares for you and your family. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus tells us not to be anxious about our life, what we will eat, or what we will drink; nor about our body, what we will wear. He reassures us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
However, we want to encourage you to align your prayers with God's will. Instead of praying for your bosses to change their minds, pray that God's will be done in this situation. It might be that God has a better position or a better job for you elsewhere. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
We also want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that our prayers are heard. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our ### who is facing uncertainty at her/his job. We pray that Your will be done in this situation. If it is Your will that she/he remains in her/his current position, we pray that You would soften the hearts of her/his bosses and change their minds. But if it is Your will that she/he moves on, we pray that You would open up a better door for her/him. We pray that You would provide for all her/his needs, and the needs of her/his family, according to Your riches in glory. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful. He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. Stay strong in faith and trust in God during this trial. I Corinthians 10:13 WEB.
