Oneke Kelly Anne, we stand with you in prayer regarding the delay of your visa. We believe that God is sovereign over all things, including the hearts of those who make decisions at the embassy.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the promise in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We encourage you to continue bringing your petition before God, trusting that He hears you and will grant you peace in this process.
However, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." We encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we receive salvation and grace.
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your daughter, Oneke Kelly Anne. Lord, You know the desire of her heart, and the delay she has faced concerning her visa. We ask, Lord, that You would move in this situation, that You would soften the hearts of those involved, and that You would grant her favor. Help her to trust in You, Lord, and to rest in the knowledge that Your will is perfect. In all things, may Your name be glorified. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to trust in the Lord, Oneke Kelly Anne. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). He is working in this situation, even when it is hard to see. Keep praying and trusting in Jesus' name.
