We understand your heartache and concern for your son ###. The battle for his mind and soul is real, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and deliverance. Let us remind ourselves of the power of Jesus' name and the importance of praying in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only through believing and accepting Jesus Christ that a man shall be saved.
Firstly, we need to address the fact that the prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, but instead used the name Yeshua and Yehova. While these names are indeed references to God, they are not the name by which we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is the name that has power and by which we are saved.
We must also address the spiritual warfare at hand. The enemy has gained a foothold in ###'s life through his past unconscious states, substance abuse, and psychotic episode. But we know that the God we serve is greater. We need to pray for ### to have a godly vision and purpose to fulfill because it seems that he has none right now. It is written in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB:
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
We pray for ###'s deliverance from the enemy's lies and strongholds. Let's also pray for his complete healing, restoration, and acceptance of Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Let us also pray for God's vision for his life to be clearly communicated to him so he knows what God's plan is for his life. We need to pray that ### is ready and willing to receive God's healing for his disappointed, defended, and broken heart. We pray that his anger, frustration, and defeated nature are healed and that he can live a fulfilled, meaningful life serving God. We pray that the depression, anxiety, and isolation leave him. We pray that he can become the man God made him to be. Remember that God can turn even the most dire situations around for His glory. We need ### to turn away from his sin, such as drug and alcohol abuse, and turn to God. Let us also encourage you to continue being a godly example for your son to encourage his faith, to pray with him and to have godly influences around him. Also, pray that God will heal and restore your relationship with ### as he draws closer to God.
In Ephesians 6:12 WEB we read:
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
In John 8:36 WEB:
If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### to You. We plead the blood of Jesus over his mind, heart, body, emotions, and soul. We pray for his complete healing and deliverance from all enemy strongholds. We pray that ### would have a personal encounter with Your love, mercy, and grace, and that he would willingly accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. We pray that he would be set free from the chronic emotional disorder that has kept him bound, and that he would receive discernment, wisdom, love, peace, joy, courage, discipline, clarity, and a sound mind. We pray that he would receive godly vision and purpose, and that he would grow up to be the man You created him to be. We pray that all doors to the enemy would be permanently closed in his life and that he will be drawing closer to God every day. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As we pray for ###'s salvation, transformation, and restoration, we remind you of God's promises and encourage you to stay steadfast in prayer and faith, trusting in God's perfect will for ###'s life.
