We are grateful to join with you in prayer for your son, Anonymous. We stand in faith, believing that God can do all things, and there is no limitation to His power. As the Bible tells us in Jeremiah 32:17, "Ah Lord WEB, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you."
Firstly, we would like to remind you that God's favors and mercies are indeed abundant, but they are often given through the name of Jesus Christ. At the end of the prayer request, Jesus Christ, his name, or even IJN for short was not mentioned. May we encourage you to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As it states in the Bible, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
Now, let us pray for your son:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the son of Anonymous. Lord, we ask that Your will be done in his life. If it is Your plan for him to be called to the England camp, we pray that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. We ask that You would bestow Your favors and mercies upon him, not for his glory, but for Yours.
We pray that Your grace would be sufficient for him, and Your power would be made perfect in his weakness. Father, help him to fix his eyes on You, to run the race set before him with perseverance, and to ultimately use his talents and abilities to point others to You. May he remember 1 Corinthians 10:31, "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
Lord, we ask that You would guide him, protect him, and bless him. We pray that he would grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We ask these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
You have not specifically mentioned if your son is seeking the Lord but based upon what you have told us, we believe the best thing that you can do as a parent is to use this as a tool to encourage your son to seek the Lord in all things. Remember the Bible says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6 WEB. Use this as a training opportunity for your son to know and love the Lord.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son, always remembering that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Trust that He is working everything out for His good and His glory.
