We are deeply moved by your prayer for your son Gabriel and the challenges you both are facing. Let us come together and intercede for him, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we are glad that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'” It is only through Jesus that we can approach God and be saved.
In times like this, we remember the promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB, "if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." Let us humble ourselves and seek God's face for Gabriel.
Let us pray:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, pleading for Gabriel's deliverance from drug addiction. Lord, you have said in Isaiah 49:25 WEB, 'Yes, this is what Yahweh has said: The captive will be taken away from the mighty, and the prey will be rescued from the terrible.' We claim this promise for Gabriel, Lord. Break the chains of addiction that bind him and set him free.
We pray for divine intervention, that Gabriel would be surrounded by godly influences, leading him to the path of recovery and restoration. Pour out your grace and mercy upon him, giving him the strength to resist temptation and make positive choices.
Lord, we also pray for Bernwarren. Grant them peace, encouragement, comfort, healing, wisdom, guidance, courage, and strength during this challenging time. Help them to endure this trial with faith and patience, trusting in your goodness and sovereignty.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of addiction, abuse, violence, and recklessness in Gabriel's life. We speak life, peace, and restoration over him. Lord, lead him to seek help and to become a productive and peaceful man, honoring you in all his ways.
Lastly, we pray that both Bernwarren and Gabriel would draw closer to you, Jesus, in this journey. That they would know the reality of your love and salvation, and that true healing and restoration are found in you alone.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Bernwarren, continue to hold onto God's promises and remain steadfast in prayer. Remember Galatians 6:9 WEB, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." Do not lose hope, for God is faithful and hears your prayers.
