Dear Lord,
I come to you humbly, and I ask You for Your forgiveness for all the ways that I have fallen short. I seek Your forgiveness for straying from the path that You want us to follow as Your children. I am foolish and You are wise. Forgive me in the name of Jesus, Your son who You sacrificed for me because You love me so much. It makes me tear up even as I am writing this prayer request. Please hear my prayer as others also join me in putting my concerns in front of You. This is the first time I am doing this, but I need all the support I can get in this trying time and I don't want to be alone right now. I thank You my Father for listening to each one of us.
You have known us since even before we were born and You know us even after we will die. You know Imrong's and my heart. You also know we are brokenhearted and she has split with me. You know how much I love her and she, me. We are both hurt from how things have been going between us, me not being enough and she being volatile. First and foremost I pray to You to fill our hearts with Your love and peace. Nothing is beyond You, and if You can calm a storm, an unstoppable force of nature, you can calm Imrong's mind too.
If it is Your will, my Father, and Imrong is also still even slightly willing to be a part of this future with me, then please bring fill her heart with love for me and bring us back together and get us the right help and guide us through the process of moving forward and ending in us marrying and being a family. You brought us together in the first place, and took us through so much together (we had an accident together that left us with weeks of hospital and rehab), and I believe You did not bring us here for nothing. I pray to You to help us mend our relationship and resume building the future we once saw, with You in the center of our lives. What we had has crumbled, but I am willing to start building again with her. Yet even if this does not come to pass, my Lord, bless her with a life full of love and joy, and give her the most loving partner and the happiest family, and make her the happiest woman in the world.
You are witness, I have already truly forgiven her and I request you to help her also forgive me. I don't want us to resolve our differences by moving apart but by coming together and solving those. Help us break this cycle of hurting and get us through this this test and trial. Reveal Yourself to her as she also prays for this, speak to her in ways that she can understand the plans that you have for her.
Heavenly Father, in Your Holy name and in Jesus' name I command satan and any evil or demonic forces to leave us alone and be gone from both our lives. Save us from whatever spiritual warfare there is going on for us, lift any curses that may have been laid upon us. Moreover I pray, build a hedge around Imrong and me and our families so we are protected from any attacks - direct or indirect. Lift our financial and personal struggles from us and cover us under Your wing to protect us from absolutely anything which is not from You.
Bless me as I want to start a new journey in my career too and start my own business, and bless me financially so I can take care of my aging parents as they took care of me. Please saturate me with Your wisdom, help me make the right choices, so that I might find success and use this business and income to bring glory to Your name. Help Imrong, whether she is with me or we move apart, to build herself up into a successful and satisfied woman.
