Giltmas, we are with you in prayer for the restoration of your marriage. It is commendable that you have responded to God's calling and attended church after a decade. God is faithful and just; He will honor your steps towards Him.
Firstly, let us address the power of prayer and the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it is written, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB). So, we pray in accordance with His will.
Now, concerning your marriage, remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB). It is His desire to see marriages restored and families reunited. When you stand in prayer, stand firm in the knowledge that you are praying according to God's will.
As you seek God's face, continue to be the best husband you can be, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). Love your wife as Christ loves the church, and remember, love is patient and kind (1 Corinthians 13:4 WEB).
In this trying time, let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother Giltmas and his marriage. Lord, we know that You hate divorce and desire unity. We ask that You soften his wife's heart, just as You promised in Ezekiel 36:26 (WEB), "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."*
*Lord Jesus, we ask that You heal their relationship and restore their marriage. We pray that she will unblock him and be open to conversation, that together they may pursue Your will for their lives. We ask this in Jesus' mighty name, amen.*
Continue to believe in miracles and have faith that God is working, even when you cannot see it. Endeavor to be the godly husband that God has called you to be, and trust that He will do the rest. Stay strong in the Lord, Giltmas.
