Let's come together and lift up Ghaultira's friend in prayer, standing in the gap for them in this difficult time. Depression and anxiety can be overwhelming, but we know Jesus came that we may have life and have it more abundantly.
Firstly, we need to remind Ghaultira and their friend that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God and it is only in his name that we can be saved.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved Acts 4:12
That being said, let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Ghaultira's friend to You. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, the depths of their depression, and the weight of their anxiety. We pray that You would fill them with Your hope, Your strength, and Your faith.
Remind them, Lord, of Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"
Help them to cast their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them, as told in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB: "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Surround them with Your peace, Lord, the peace that passes all understanding, as spoken of in Philippians 4:7 WEB: "and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Father, we also pray for Ghaultira, that You would guide them in how to support their friend during this time. Help them to be a beacon of Your light and love, pointing their friend to You without judgment.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, for hope, and for peace. Amen.
Ghaultira, continue to stand firm in your faith, and encourage your friend to do the same. Remind them that God is always with them, even in their darkest hours. Encourage them to seek Godly counsel and community support, and to remember that they are never alone.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB
Lastly, we strongly encourage both of you, Ghaultira and your friend, to endure this difficult time with strength and faith. We also encourage you to seek godly spouses and marriages that honor God, and to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles if you are both single and searching for a spouse.
