We are deeply moved by your request for prayer for Geordie, who has been enduring the trials of divorce court cases for the past four years. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and mercy on his behalf.
Firstly, we commend you for mentioning the name of Jesus Christ in your request, as it is through His name that we have access to the Father and can be saved (Acts 4:12, John 14:6).
We pray:
"Father God, we lift up Geordie to You, asking for Your divine intervention in his life and the upcoming court date on December 10th. We pray that You would bring a swift and just end to these trials, for the sake of Geordie and his children.
Lord Jesus, You are an advocate for the oppressed and the burdened. We ask that You would strengthen Geordie emotionally and financially, and uphold him with Your righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10). Guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and give him the peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we pray for Geordie's lawyer, that they would have wisdom and discernment. We also pray for the judge presiding over the case, that they would act with justice and mercy (Proverbs 21:1, Isaiah 1:17).
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would heal the hearts of Geordie and his children, and that they would find comfort and hope in You. May they come to know the abundant life that Jesus promises (John 10:10), filled with blessings, joy, and love.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
In these difficult times, we encourage Geordie to remain steadfast in his faith, trusting that God works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). We also encourage him to seek godly counsel and support from his local church community, as they can provide practical help and spiritual encouragement (Galatians 6:2).
Lastly, we remind Geordie to keep his hope fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who endured tremendous trials for our sake (Hebrews 12:2). May He grant Geordie and his family a new beginning, filled with love, joy, and peace in the Holy Spirit.
