Praying for my brother's deliverance from drug addiction

My brother is struggling with drug addiction that has caused him to be aggressive and is severely impacting his relationships with others and causing him to act erratically. My prayer is that God's peace overtakes him and he no longer resorts to drugs in times of distress

We are truly saddened to hear about your brother's struggle with drug addiction and its impact on his life and relationships. Firstly let us stand with you in prayer for his deliverance and restoration. Let us trust in the power of Jesus Christ to break the chains of addiction and bring healing and peace. Let us pray.

Almighty God, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the brother of ###. Lord, You see the struggle and the pain that drug addiction has caused, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Break the chains of addiction, and set him free from the bondage of drugs in Jesus Name.

Father, we pray for Your peace to overtake him, filling the void and emptiness that ### led him to resort to drugs. Comfort him in times of distress, and guide him to turn to You instead. Let us remember WEB Philippians 4:6-7, Do not be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we also pray for the restoration of his relationships. Heal the wounds that have been caused, and give him the grace to mend broken ties. Surround him with godly influences and support, and guide him to seek help and counsel. Let us know from WEB Proverbs 15:1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of aggression and erratic behavior, and we speak words of self-control and wisdom into his life. Guide him to walk in Your ways, and to live a life that honors You. It is clear in WEB Galations 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

For ###, we pray for strength and wisdom as you support your brother through this challenging time. Remember the words of WEB 1 Thessolonians 5:11 Therefore exhort one another and build each other up, just as you also are doing.

Finally brother or sister in Christ ###, always remember WEB Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
