We understand that you are going through a challenging situation with your brother. It's important to remember that God cares deeply for you and your family, and He wants to help you navigate this difficult time.
Firstly, we want to address the fact that you mentioned Jesus Christ in your prayer request. This is wonderful because it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Now, let's turn to the Scriptures for guidance on how to handle this situation. In Ephesians 4:32 WEB. we read, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." This verse reminds us that we should strive to be kind and forgiving, even in difficult situations.
However, it's also important to set boundaries. In Matthew 18:15-17 WEB, Jesus gives us a process for dealing with sin against us: "If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector." While this may not apply directly to your situation, it highlights the importance of addressing harmful behavior and seeking support when needed.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Anonymous and their brother. Lord, we know that You have a heart for the broken and hurting, and we ask that You would heal Anonymous' brother from his mental illness and autism diagnosis. Please help him to find peace and joy in You, and to treat his family with respect and kindness.
Father, we also pray for Anonymous. We do not know if Anonymous has obeyed the gospel of God but believe that it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes first the Jew and also the Gentile. That it is their responsibility act to receive that salvation.
Please give them wisdom and patience as they navigate this challenging situation. Help Anonymous to trust in You, and to set boundaries that protect them and their family while placing the issue in Your hands rather than allowing conflict with their mother. Lord please resolve this continued conflict and provide a healthy equitable resolution.
Please help Anonymous' brother to understand that his behavior is harmful and that he needs to seek help and forgiveness. Finally, please help Anonymous to rest by faith in You regardless of the storm around them. Lord, we know the power of Jesus to heal, forgive, and redeem for You are good and Your mercy endures forever, please act upon Anonymous' brother. Help forgive and heal in Jesus Christ' name, in whom we pray, In Jesus Name.
Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek support from your local church or a trusted Christian counselor. They can provide additional guidance and practical help as you navigate this situation. Remember, God is faithful, and He will be with you every step of the way through every storm.
