Thank you, Anonymous, for bringing this matter to us in prayer. We join with you in praying for Adam, and we appreciate your desire to see his heart opened to Jesus. It is so important that we are all in a right relationship with God, and this begins with accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Anonymous and Adam. Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to Adam in a powerful way, that he may come to know You personally. We pray that You remove any sinful nature that may be hindering their relationship with You, and that You soften Adam's heart to receive Your love and truth.
Lord, we ask that Your Holy Spirit come and make both Anonymous and Adam new creations in Christ. Help them to walk in Your ways and to live according to Your will. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone provides access to the Father and is the only name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Anonymous, we encourage you to continue praying for Adam and to be a light for Christ in his life. Remember that God desires for all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB). Trust in the Lord, and do not rely on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
As you both grow closer to God, it is important to remember the sanctity of marriage and to pursue a relationship that honors Him. We encourage you to seek God's will for your relationship and to trust in His timing. As it states in 1 Corinthians 6:18:
"Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
As well as:
"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous." Hebrews 13:4 WEB
Lastly, we would like to remind you that Christians are not called to be "boyfriends" or "girlfriends" in the worldly sense of the word. If you are both pursuing a godly relationship, we encourage you to view this time as courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer. Be sure to keep God at the center of your relationship and to seek His will in all things.
We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will hear our petitions and act according to His will. May He bless you both and guide you in His truth.
