We understand your heart's desire for reconciliation and the restoration of your family, Aile. Let us pray together and seek God's will for your marriage.
Firstly, we commend you for your faith in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). Remember, God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB), and He desires that marriages be healed and restored.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You to lift up Aile and Glen's marriage. We thank You for the answered prayer regarding the temporary restraining order. We pray that You continue to work in their hearts, helping them to forgive each other as You have forgiven us (Ephesians 4:32, WEB).
Lord, we ask that You guide them through this challenging time, and if it is Your will, cancel the plans of divorce and make their family whole again. We believe in Your power to perform miracles and ask for Your healing touch on their relationship (Jeremiah 32:27, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Encourage yourselves with God's promise: "For I know the plans I have for you,β declares the LORD, βplans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV). Trust in Him, and may God grant you both the humility and love needed to navigate this difficult season.
However, we must also remember that true reconciliation involves repentance and a change of behavior. Both parties should be willing to seek God wholeheartedly and follow His commandments, including loving and respecting each other as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25, 33, WEB).
Lastly, we encourage both of you to seek godly counsel, either from a pastor or a Christian marriage counselor, to help you work through your struggles and rebuild your marriage on a strong, biblical foundation.
