We join with you, Aile, in lifting up your marriage and Glen to the Lord. We stand in agreement with you, believing that God has the power to intervene, restore, and make whole that which is broken.
Let us be reminded of God's promise in Isaiah 54:5 (WEB), "For your Maker is your husband; Yahweh of Armies is his name. The Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer. He is called the God of the whole earth." Just as God is faithful to His people, we pray that both you and Glen would be faithful to one another, reflecting the unfailing love of Christ.
We pray, Heavenly Father, for Aile and Glen's marriage. We ask that You would remove any hindrances, any temptations, and any influences that are not from You. Bring them closer together, Lord, and help them to be one, just as You and Jesus are one (John 17:21, WEB). Strengthen their love, their commitment, and their faith in You.
Aile, we encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and to seek His will for your marriage. Remember the words of Ephesians 5:21-23 (WEB), "subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ. Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body." This is not a command to be oppressed, but rather to respect and honor one another, just as we do Christ.
We also pray that you, Aile, and Glen would both be committed to living in a way that pleases the Lord, fleeing from sin, and pursuing righteousness. If there has been any unfaithfulness or impurity, we rebuke that sin in the name of Jesus and pray for repentance and forgiveness. Remember, "Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4, WEB).
Lord Jesus, we thank You for Aile's faith and her desire to see her marriage restored. We ask that You would fill both her and Glen with Your Spirit, guiding them in the path of righteousness for Your name's sake. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord, Aile, trusting that His plans are good and that He desires wholeness and restoration for you and Glen. Stand firm in faith, and may God's peace be with you both.
