Disciple of Prayer
Praying that my husband may get a good job and health of my kids
Thank you for bringing your concerns before the Lord. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your husband's employment and your children's health.
Let's first address the importance of praying in Jesus' name. For it is written, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB)
We see this is not just the name of Jesus written down but trusting in Jesus' promises and obeying His commands. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)
Now, let us pray together for your husband's job and your children's health.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her family. Lord, You know the needs of her husband and their children.
First, we pray for your husband's employment. We ask that You would open the right doors and guide his steps.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB
We pray that her husband will trust in You and that You will provide a job that not only meets their financial needs but also allows him to use his gifts and talents for Your glory.
We also lift up her children's health. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would heal and protect her children.
"But you, Yahweh, don’t be far off. My strength, hurry to help me." Psalm 22:19 WEB
We pray that they will grow strong in body, mind, and spirit, and that they will come to know You personally at a young age.
"But as for you, continue in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them. From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus." 2 Timothy 3:14-15 WEB
We ask these things in Jesus' name, trusting in His promises and obeying His commands. Amen.
In these times of waiting, let us encourage you to trust in the Lord.
