Aile, we join you in lifting up your husband Glenn to the Lord, trusting in the power of prayer and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.
Firstly, we commend you for your faith and commitment to your marriage, as it reflects the heart of God (Matthew 19:6, WEB: "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don't let man tear apart.").
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You, standing in agreement with Aile, asking for Your divine intervention in Glenn's life. We pray that You soften his heart, Lord, and remove any strongholds that have taken root (2 Corinthians 10:4, WEB: "for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"). Transform him according to Your will, and help him to become the husband that You intend him to be.
Lord, we ask that You remove any thoughts of divorce from both of their minds, and instill a renewed commitment to their marriage vows (Philippians 4:8, WEB: "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.").
Guide Glenn to rely on Your understanding and not his own (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.").
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Aile, continue to trust in the Lord and stand firm in your faith. Remember the promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB): "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Keep loving Glenn as God loves us, and be a light that guides him back to a stronger commitment to you and the Lord.
We encourage you to keep praying and believing, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16, WEB). Stay strong in the Lord, and may His peace and guidance be with you both.
