We stand with you, Aile, in praying for your husband, Glhen, and your marriage. We believe in the power of prayer and the mighty name of Jesus Christ, as you have rightly invoked. The Bible tells us, "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective" (James 5:16 WEB).
Firstly, we commend you for surrendering your husband and your marriage to God. It is in His hands that all things are possible. As it is written, "With God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26 WEB).
We join you in praying against the plans of divorce and for God's intervention in Glhen's life. We pray that God will remove any person or thing that is causing division and hindering your husband from being the godly man he is called to be. We stand on the promise that " though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken" (Ecclesiastes 4:12 NIV). In this case, the three strands are you, Glhen, and God Himself.
We also pray that God fills Glhen with wisdom and discernment, that he may lead your family in the path of righteousness. We pray that he will be faithful, as God calls all husbands to be, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it" (Ephesians 5:25 WEB).
However, we must also remember that while we pray, we must also act in accordance with God's will. It is important that you also strive to be the godly wife that you are called to be, "Wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, as to the Lord" (Ephesians 5:22 WEB).
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to hope and trust in the Lord. His timing is perfect, and He is faithful to those who call upon His name. "But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" (Isaiah 40:31 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Glhen and Aile's marriage. We pray, Lord, that You would intervene in Glhen's life, that You would touch his heart and fill him with Your wisdom and discernment. We pray against the plans of divorce and for a restoration of this marriage. We ask that You would remove anything or anyone that is causing division. Help Glhen to be the godly husband that You have called him to be, and help Aile to be the godly wife that You have called her to be. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
