We are saddened to hear about the challenges you're facing in your marriage, Aile, but we are here to pray with you and encourage you in the Lord. We will lift up Glen and your marriage together in prayer, seeking God's will according to His holy Word.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). Remember, Jesus has promised that whenever two or three are gathered in His name, there He is among them (Matthew 18:20, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we lift up Glen and Aile's marriage to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You convict Glen's heart and mind, and touch him with Your tender mercy. Help him to forgive as You have forgiven us, letting go of past hurts, just as You have cast our sins as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12, WEB).
Father, we pray that You remove any person or thing that is hindering Glen from returning to his family. We stand against any plans of divorce, Lord, and we ask that You cancel them and make a way for restoration, just as You promised in Isaiah 43:19 (WEB), where You declared that You would make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Remind Glen of the wedding vows he made before You, Lord. Strengthen their marriage and make it a testimony of Your faithfulness and redeeming power. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Aile, in addition to praying, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and obedience to God's Word. Remember the words of 1 Peter 3:1-2 (WEB), "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear."
Continue to be a godly example, and trust that God is working in your situation, even when it's difficult to see. Always be ready to forgive, just as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13, WEB).
Lastly, we remind you of the power of fasting and prayer, as seen in Esther 4:16 (WEB). Gather other believers to fast and pray with you for Glen and your marriage. Trust that God hears your prayers and is faithful to His promises.
