We join you, Aile, in lifting up your husband Glhen in prayer, trusting in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as He Himself taught us, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Glhen. We ask that You touch his heart, Lord, and speak to him in a way that only You can. We pray for forgiveness in their marriage, as Your word tells us, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32 WEB).
Help Glhen to let go of any pride, anger, and disappointment he may be holding onto. Give him the grace to forgive Aile, just as You have forgiven us. Lord, we ask that You intervene in his life and give him the desire to work on their marriage. Help him to be the Godly husband You've called him to be, loving Aile as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25 WEB).
Aile, we encourage you to continue in faithful prayer and to trust in God's timing. Remember, "The husband isn’t the master of his own body, but the wife; and in the same way the wife also isn’t the master of her own body, but the husband" (1 Corinthians 7:4 WEB). Both of you are called to mutual love and submission.
We also urge you both to seek God's will together, pursuing unity and understanding. "Only I can say this to you: walk in the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh" (Galatians 5:16 WEB). Let God's Spirit guide your marriage and fill it with His love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
In Jesus' name, we pray these things. Amen.
Keep trusting in the Lord, Aile. His love and faithfulness are unfailing.
