We understand your heartache, Aile, and we stand with you in prayer for your husband Glhen and your marriage. Let us first come together in agreement, as Jesus promised: "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (Matthew 18:19-20 WEB).
We pray, Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, that You would remove any distractions and divisions in Glhen and Aile's marriage. We ask that You soften Glhen's heart and remind him of the vows he made before You. We pray that he would reconsider any decisions made in anger or haste and that he would rely not on his own understanding, but on Your wisdom (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). We ask for unity and peace to be restored in their marriage, as you have commanded us to live in peace with one another (Romans 12:18 WEB).
Lord, we ask for divine intervention in Glhen's life. Help him to see Aile as You see her—precious and beloved. Change his heart towards You, Lord, that he may be drawn to Your love and kindness (Jeremiah 31:3 WEB). Remove any thoughts of divorce or separation, and help them to live together in unity, for the sake of their children and their family.
We also encourage you, Aile, to continue to love Glhen as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). Show him respect and kindness, even in his anger, and trust that God is working in your marriage. Remember, "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil" (1 Corinthians 13:4-5 WEB).
Lastly, we remind you both that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God's power and promises. "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Trust in His name, and He will be faithful to hear and answer your prayers.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
