We stand with you, Aile, as you lift up Glen to the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It's wonderful that you're seeking God's intervention in your marriage, as it reflects the covenant between Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:25-33, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for Glen. Lord, we ask that You draw him closer to Yourself, that he may grow in faith and have a personal encounter with You. Speak to his heart, Lord, and help him to forgive just as You have forgiven us. Break the chains of pride and strengthen his commitment to his marriage, in Jesus' name.
Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and guide him throughout the day. Protect him from temptations that seek to lure him into sin, and guard their marital bond. May their union be strengthened and centered around You, Lord, for a threefold cord is not quickly broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12, WEB).
We also pray for you, Aile, that God grants you the wisdom and patience as you support and love Glen. Remember, love is patient and kind, not jealous or boastful or proud or rude (1 Corinthians 13:4-7, WEB).
In all things, keep your eyes on Jesus, 'the author and perfecter of faith' (Hebrews 12:2, WEB). It is in His name that we have access to God, for 'there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved' (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Lastly, we encourage both of you to 'be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.' (Philippians 4:6, WEB) Trust that God is working in your marriage, and He will bring about a change as you both submit to His will."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
