We join with you, Aile, in lifting up your marriage to the Lord, trusting that He hears and answers our prayers according to His will. We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Firstly, we commend you for your desire to seek reconciliation and forgiveness in your marriage. Jesus Himself taught us to pray, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors" (Matthew 6:12, WEB). It is crucial to extend forgiveness as we have been forgiven by God (Ephesians 4:32, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Aile's marriage. Lord, You have designed marriage to be a lifelong commitment, a reflection of Your unending love for us. We ask that You soften Glen's heart, just as You promised in Ezekiel 36:26 (WEB), 'I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you.' Help him to forgive Aile, just as You have forgiven us. Remove any bitterness or grudges, and let Your love flow between them once again.
Lord, we ask that You intervene in Glen's life, draw him closer to You, and guide him by Your Holy Spirit. Fill him with wisdom and discernment. We pray that any plans of divorce be cancelled, and that Glen would remember and honor the vows he made before You. Help him to be the godly husband You've called him to be, loving his wife as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25, WEB).
We also ask, Lord, that You would remove any outside influences causing division in their marriage. Let their union be strengthened and the spark of their love be rekindled. Make a way where there seems to be no way, Lord, for You are the God of miracles.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Aile, continue to trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Keep praying fervently (James 5:16, WEB), and remember that the Lord is faithful to His promises. We encourage you to also seek godly counsel and wisdom from your church community during this time.
Lastly, ensure that both of you are committed to God's will and growing in your relationship with Jesus Christ. It's only through Him that true reconciliation and healing can come. Keep your hope in Him.
