We understand your heart's cry, Aile, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage. Let us remember that Jesus taught us, "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you" (John 15:7 WEB).
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18).
We join you in praying for Glen's heart. We ask God to soften it, to speak to him, and to bring about a change that only He can (Ezekiel 36:26). We pray that Glen will find it in his heart to forgive, just as Christ forgave us (Ephesians 4:32). We ask that any grudges or bitterness be replaced with love and understanding, as we are instructed to "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice" (Ephesians 4:31).
We pray that Glen will have the desire to work on your marriage, that he will seek to become a Godly husband, loving you as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25). Remember, Aile, that God can make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19).
However, we also encourage you to examine your own heart and actions, ensuring that you are being the Godly wife you are called to be (Proverbs 31:10-31). Remember the words of Paul, "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord... Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband" (Ephesians 5:22, 33 WEB).
We pray fervently for restoration and healing in your marriage, Aile. Trust in the power of prayer and the promises of God. "For with God, nothing shall be impossible" (Luke 1:37 WEB).
Father, we lift up Aile and Glen's marriage to You. We ask for Your healing, Your guidance, and Your will to be done in their lives. Bring them closer to You and to each other. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
