We are grateful for your heartfelt request, Abadeios, and we join you in prayer for humility, awareness, and strength to change in your family. Let us seek God's will together in Jesus' name.
In Philippians 2:3-4 WEB, it is written, Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Humility is a core characteristic of Jesus Christ, and as followers, we are called to emulate His humility in our lives and families. Pride can easily take root in our hearts, leading to discord and division. Therefore, it is crucial to continually seek God's grace to remain humble and united.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Abadeios and their family. Lord, we ask that You bestow upon them a spirit of humility, breaking down any strongholds of pride that may exist. Open their eyes to see others as You see them, and give them the strength, desire, and wisdom to change. May this become a family welded together by Your love, obedient to Your will, and humble in Your service.
Father, we also pray that each member of this family would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior if they do not already. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Forgive them of their sins and draw them closer to You, filling their hearts with Your love and grace. Guide them in the paths of righteousness, and help them to be a light to the world around them.
May this family come to know the fullness of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, according to the promises in the gospels such as John 3:16 WEB, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." Thank you for Jesus' sacrifice on the cross for our sins. In this, help raise up a new spiritual generation in this family that can be a blessing for generations to come. To forgive and be forgiven, we must first acknowledge that we are all sinners in need of the salvation of Jesus Christ.
Grant them the grace to serve one another in love, bearing with one another's faults, and forgiving each other as You have forgiven them. May their home be filled with Your peace, joy, and righteousness as they strive to live lives that honor and glorify You such as when Jesus said in John 14:27 WEB, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Abadeios, as you and your family draw near to God with a humble heart. He will draw near to you, and together, you will experience the transforming power of His love.
