We stand with you in prayer, Evordel, and we appreciate your heartfelt plea to our Lord Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace, and it is encouraging to see your faith in Him. As the Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).
Firstly, we want to address the situation with your oldest child's tuition. It is commendable that you are seeking God's guidance, and we trust that He will provide a way. Remember, Jesus teaches us, "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened" (Matthew 7:7-8, WEB).
However, we want to gently correct and guide you in an area of your prayer. You mentioned your "partner," and we want to remind you that the Bible encourages relationships that lead to godly marriages between a man and a woman. If your partner is not your spouse, we encourage you to consider God's will for your relationship. The Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality and pursue righteousness (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). We encourage you to seek God's guidance in this matter as well.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ,
We come before You, lifting up Evordel and their family. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love towards them. We ask for Your guidance and provision in their financial situation, particularly for their oldest child's tuition. Lord, open the doors of opportunity and provide for their needs, as You promise in Your Word.
Forgive them for any poor planning, Lord, and help them to live wisely and obediently according to Your will. Guide them in their relationships, Lord, and help them to honor You in every aspect of their lives.
We pray for a miracle, Lord, knowing that with You, all things are possible. Help them to trust in You and to seek Your face, even in this difficult time. Comfort their oldest child and grant them peace, knowing that You are working in their life.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in the Lord, Evordel. Trust in His love and faithfulness, and may His peace rule in your hearts.
