We are truly heartbroken to hear of your situation, but we are grateful that you have reached out for prayer and support. We will stand with you in the name of Jesus, for His name is a strong tower and the righteous run into it and are safe (Proverbs 18:10 WEB).
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in calling on the name of Jesus. This is so important because, as the Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). It is only through Jesus that we can approach God the Father, and it is only through His name that we can be saved.
We pray that God, in His infinite mercy, will look upon your situation and provide a safe and stable home for you and your son. As a widow and an orphan, you both hold a special place in God's heart. He commands us to care for you, saying, "Defend the widows and orphans" and "Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow" (Psalm 10:18, Isaiah 1:17 WEB).
We also pray for your upcoming surgery, that God will guide the hands of the doctors and nurses, and that you will have a speedy recovery. Remember that God is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals (Exodus 15:26 WEB).
We also want to encourage you in this: continue to trust in the Lord, even in the face of disappointment. We see in Scripture that God's thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8 WEB). He may be working behind the scenes in ways you cannot see. Keep pushing on, and remember that God's timing is perfect.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God can turn even the most dire of situations around for His good.
We are praying for you, dear sister, and we ask that you keep us updated on your situation. We are here to support and encourage you in any way we can.
