Thank you for reaching out to us with your prayer request, Sarah. We join you in prayer for your healing and for your cousin Jordan's healing from COPD.
First, we want to remind you of God's promises for healing. In Psalm 103:2-3, it is written, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." God is our great healer, and we can trust in His power to restore our health.
However, we also want to encourage you to seek God's will in this situation. Sometimes, God uses illnesses to draw us closer to Him and to teach us to rely on Him more. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God has a purpose in your suffering and that He will use it for your good and His glory.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon Sarah and her cousin Jordan. Lord, You know their bodies better than any doctor, and we trust that You have the power to heal them completely. Please remove any remaining symptoms of COVID from Sarah's body and restore Jordan's lungs to full health. We pray for their faith to be strengthened during this time and for them to experience Your presence and love in a deeper way.
However, Lord, we also submit to Your will. If it is Your plan for them to continue in this illness for a time, we ask for Your grace and strength to endure. Help them to see Your purpose in their suffering and to trust in Your goodness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, Sarah, we want to encourage you to continue praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
