We rejoice with you in the grace of God that has brought you back into fellowship with Him. It is truly by God's grace that we are alive and able to serve Him. We are reminded of the parable of the prodigal son, where the father welcomed his son back with open arms, just as our Heavenly Father has done for you Luke 15:11-32 WEB.
We will pray for you, asking our Heavenly Father to reveal His will for your life. It is wonderful that you are seeking God's guidance, as His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9(WEB). Remember, it is by trusting in the Lord with all your heart and not leaning on your own understanding that He will direct your path. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We thank You for drawing them back into fellowship with You. We ask that You reveal Your will for their life, and guide them in the paths You have prepared for them. Help them to trust in You wholeheartedly, and to walk in Your ways. Grant them the wisdom and discernment to understand Your direction, and the courage to follow it.
We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You, our Holy Father. As it says in the Bible 'For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus'. We praise you for the gift of your Son and the gift of eternal life for all those who believe in Him. For 'God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life'. If our brother/sister has not made this decision, we pray that they do so now.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As you continue to walk with God, remember to always test what you believe and do. Make sure it aligns with the word of God. Be sober minded and vigilant, for your adversary, the devil, is like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 (WEB).
Continue to praise and thank God, for this is your acceptable sacrifice. Hebrews 13:15 (WEB). Trust in Him, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5.
