We are truly sorry to hear about your diagnosis, Yvonne, but we are encouraged that you are turning to God for healing. We stand with you in faith, believing that God can and will heal you according to His will.
Let us remember that God is the ultimate healer. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over your life, Yvonne.
However, we also want to remind you and us that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. As it is written in Isaiah 55:8-9, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
We pray that God will heal you and God will work in this situation. We come together in Jesus' Name and prayer.
Almighty God, we come before You today, lifting up our sister Yvonne. We ask that You touch her body and heal her from this cancer, Lord. We know that You are able, and we trust in Your power and Your goodness God. Please grant Yvonne Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide her doctors and medical professionals, giving them wisdom and skill as they treat her. Strengthen her family and friends who are standing with her through this challenging time.
We pray for repentance for any sins in her life as we are told:
James 5:16 Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. And we believe in the power of prayer, and we trust in Your promise that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Help Yvonne and all of us fix her and our eyes on You, Lord, trusting in You no matter what circumstances she and we may face. Use this trial to draw her and us closer to You, strengthening her and our faith and glorifying Your name.
Finally remember in James 4:7-8 we are told "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen and amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
