Praying for god to restore my marriage

My husband and I are currently separated due to cheating. And not trusting each other.

I just want help praying for god to restore our marriage and our foundation in him. We have been together for 20 plus and married for 14yrs.

We are so sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing in your marriage, Bairan. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's restoration and healing in your union.

Firstly, let's remember what the WEB says about God's heart for marriage: "Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." (Matthew 19:6) God's desire is for your marriage to be strong and unified.

However, we must also acknowledge the severity of the issues you're facing. Infidelity and lack of trust are serious matters that need to be addressed openly and honestly. It's important to remember that God forgives, but He also requires us to turn away from sin: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Bairan's marriage. Lord, You know the pain and betrayal they are going through. We ask for Your healing hand totouch this marriage. Help them to forgive each other, as You have forgiven us. Guide them as they rebuild trust, with Your word as their foundation. We ask that You would restore what the enemy has sought to destroy. Give them strength, wisdom, and a love for each other that only You can provide. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Bairan, we encourage you both to seek godly counsel, to pray together, and to study God's word together. Remember, "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." (Psalm 147:3) Trust in God's power to restore and heal.

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention Jesus. We want to remind you that it's through Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5) If you haven't already, we encourage you to invite Jesus into your life and your marriage. It's through Him that true healing and restoration can be found.

Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we come to You, lifting up this marriage. Lord, You see the brokenness, the shattered trust. We ask for Your comfort, Your healing touch. Help them to forgive as they've been forgiven. Guide them as they rebuild, brick by brick, with love and patience. Restore what's been lost, Lord. Give them strength, hope, and a love that endures. We want to encourage you both to seek God's face, to spend time in His word, and to trust in His faithfulness. As it's written, "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) God is with you, and He's fighting for your marriage.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
