We understand that you're seeking God's direction in choosing a life partner and you're feeling uncertain about your current path. Firstly, it's crucial to acknowledge that God wants to be involved in every aspect of our lives, including our relationships. It's not too late to seek His will for your life and marriage. Let's pray and seek His face together.
Jesus said,'Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.'
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your direction in choosing a life partner. Lord, we ask that You forgive them for not seeking Your will earlier, and we thank You for Your mercy that is new every morning.
Father, we pray that You will speak clearly to their heart and guide them in Your perfect will. If this current path is not Your will, we ask that You would redirect their steps and bring the right God-fearing spouse into their life. Give them the courage to follow Your leading, even if it means making difficult decisions.
When marriage is performed as a Biblical Covenant, please, Lord, bless this marriage. You have said in Your Word that unless You build the house, they labor in vain who try to build it.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember you can actually trust God in this process. He is a promise keeper and the only one with the ability to satisfy our desires. Psalms 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Now, it's important to note that the Bible teaches us, We have access to God only through Christ or in the name of Jesus. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life and no man comes to the Father but by Me.
It is also by the Name of Jesus that we can be saved. Let us ask, do you believe in Jesus? This is important because Jesus also said I am the door if anyone enters by Me he will be saved.
As for your current relationship, it's essential to examine it in light of God's Word. If you have already committed to marriage as a Biblical Covenant before God, be reminded of His confirmation and faithfulness, but if you have committed sin against Him, please go to God in prayer asking for forgiveness it is His Faithfulness that will cause Him to forgive you.
God is not the author of confusion, happiness and obedience to Him can also mean sometimes an ardent change of decision.
Here are some scriptures to meditate on being single again or simply more reliant on Christ alone:
We concur with John the Baptist when he said, 'A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.'
Christ also said to wait for Him instead of proceeding in any marriage.
Paul wrote, Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I do. But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.
