Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Gene to you. We humbly ask for your divine intervention and healing touch upon him as he undergoes emergency surgery for the tumor on his pituitary gland. Lord, we know that you are the ultimate healer, and nothing is impossible for you.
In your Word, you have shown us countless times that you are able to heal the sick and restore health. We stand on the promise of Psalm 103:2-3, which says, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases." We believe that you are able to remove this tumor and restore Gene's health completely.
Lord, we pray for the surgeons and medical staff who will be performing the surgery. Grant them wisdom, skill, and steady hands as they operate on Gene. Guide their every decision and let your presence be with them in the operating room. We pray that you would guide their hands and give them success in removing the tumor without any complications.
We also pray for Gene's recovery process. Lord, we ask that you would speed up his healing, both physically and emotionally. Comfort him and his loved ones during this challenging time. Surround them with your peace that surpasses all understanding.
