Nylsyc, we join you in lifting up your request to the Lord. We are grateful for the hope and faith you have shown in reaching out to us.
First, we want to acknowledge the significance of marriage as a divine institution. As it is written in Matthew 19:6 (WEB), โSo that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.โ We are thankful for your union and pray that God continues to strengthen your bond.
We understand your desire for children, and we believe that children are a blessing from the Lord. As the Psalmist writes in Psalm 127:3 (WEB), โLook, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward.โ
However, we want to encourage you to trust in God's perfect timing. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). If it is God's will for you to conceive this month, then so be it. But if not, remain steadfast in your faith, knowing that His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB).
We also want to encourage both you and your husband to continue seeking God together, to grow in your relationship with Him, and to seek His will for your lives. As you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you (James 4:8, WEB).
Now, let us pray:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister ### and her husband. Lord, we ask that you strengthen their union and increase their love for each other. Father, we ask that you open ###'s womb and grant them the fruit of the womb according to your will and in your perfect timing. Give them peace, comfort, and patience as they wait on you. Help them to trust in you and to draw near to you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), โJesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'โ So, continue to call upon His name and trust in Him.
