We are glad that you have acknowledged the blessings in your life despite the struggles you face with your skin condition. It's important to remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should honor God with them. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB:
"Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
Feeling sorry for ourselves can lead to a sense of hopelessness and can take our focus away from God's love and the blessings He has given us. It's wonderful that you are seeking forgiveness for these feelings. Remember, in Christ, we have forgiveness and new life. As it says in Acts 10:43 WEB:
"All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who has been struggling with feelings of self-pity due to her skin condition. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness and Your healing touch upon her life. Help her to see herself through Your eyes, as Your beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made.
Father, we thank You for the blessings You have bestowed upon her. Help her to focus on Your goodness and Your love, rather than on her circumstances. Give her the strength to endure and to glorify You in her body and in her spirit.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord and fix your eyes on Him. The more you focus on His love and His purpose for your life, the more you will experience His peace and joy. As it says in Isaiah 26:3 WEB:
"You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you; because he trusts in you."
